ImageCraft ("we," "us," or "the site") provides free, browser-based tools for compressing PDFs and images, removing image backgrounds, merging images into PDFs, and converting image formats. This page explains what happens to your data when you use ImageCraft.

1. Your files never leave your device

All file processing — PDF compression, image compression, background removal, PDF creation, and format conversion — happens entirely inside your own browser, using JavaScript running on your device. Your files are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party server as part of these tools. We have no access to the files you process and no ability to view, store, or recover them.

2. Information we do collect

Because ImageCraft is a website, some limited technical information is generated automatically simply by visiting it:

• Hosting logs: Our hosting provider (Netlify) may log standard web request data such as IP address, browser type, and access times, for security and reliability purposes.
• Language preference: We store your chosen display language (Korean or English) in your browser's local storage so we can remember it on your next visit. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.

3. Third-party services used to run the tools

To provide certain features, your browser loads code and, in some cases, AI models directly from these third-party providers. Requests to these providers may expose your IP address to them, governed by their own privacy policies:

• jsDelivr / cdnjs / unpkg — deliver the JavaScript libraries the tools run on (PDF processing, AI background removal).
• Hugging Face — hosts the AI model used for background removal, downloaded directly to your browser.
• Google Fonts — provides the typefaces used on this site.

None of these providers receive the contents of the files you process — only the standard technical requests needed to load code and fonts.

4. Advertising and cookies

ImageCraft may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses this data and manage your ad personalization settings at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.

5. Children's privacy

ImageCraft is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
